Romantic Wedding in Italy
3 days wedding │ Vegan menu │ Couple from US │ Vegan wedding cake │ 70 guests │ “Tuscan style”
I met Tayma and David the previous summer, when I organized David’s sister’s wedding. I was honored that they confirmed me for this event as well! Tayma and David wanted an informal, romantic wedding, that would display the typical colors of an Italian summer. But most of all, they wanted to feel in the midst of nature, spending three days with their friends and families in a place that would speak of who they truly are, and of their love for animals, yoga, and nature.
And so we designed this 3-day event in the heart of Tuscany in an ancient hamlet, inclusive of a truffle hunt with the cutest dogs and all the guests wearing custom-made T-shirts.
The first evening started with a pizza party with wooden picnic tables decorated with red peppers and tomatoes, in the garden of the villa.
The second day we organized a “market style” event in the nearby hamlet, where the guests experienced the typical Italian fish festival. There was a vegetal market, the grill corner, the pasta corner where the dishes were prepared on the spot. The most fun part was the hat corner, where the guests could wear the typical Florentine straw hat with colored ribbons and a personalized message written by our calligrapher Betty Soldi. As usual, our goal is to involve our guests as much as possible in fun experiences!

The following day finally involved Tayma and David’s emotional moment. The ceremony setting was a triumph of flowers in pastel colors mixing pale rose, salmon and green: pincushion flowers, sweet pea, English roses, digitalis, delphinium, dahlia, eucalyptus and olive branches. The party ended with the wonderful fireworks on the notes of “Lucy in the sky with diamonds” by the Beatles, “Bennie and the Jets” by Elton John” and “Can’t Stop Me Now” by Queen.

To top it all, only vegan food was served in the 3 days, including the wedding cake prepared by our trusted maître pâtissier who backs us up in all our impossible missions!
