The area that the whole world knows as Italian Riviera is a region called Liguria, stretching from France (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur) to the Gulf of La Spezia with the towns of Lerici and Portovenere. Liguria is a string of small inlets and beautiful hamlets, some offering the smallest beaches, others perched on the rocky coast, creating a breathtaking backdrop for a luxury Italian Riviera Wedding.

Some hamlets are prettier when enjoyed from the sea. These small villages nestle in the rock, peeking out with their colorful houses. The famous Cinque Terre (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore), Portovenere, Lerici, and the renowned Portofino with Santa Margherita Ligure are located here, offering exclusive settings for an Italian wedding.

The Riviera Ligure is ideal for any kind of wedding. We suggest Cinque Terre for smaller, intimate weddings with fewer guests, since the spaces for ceremonies here are idyllic for intimate events, and the logistics only allow smaller numbers.

Portovenere and Lerici instead offer larger spaces for ceremonies and events for hundreds of guests. Through the years, we have selected several private villas for a romantic seafront ceremony and dinners under the pergolas for an amazing wedding with sea view.
