I met S&A thanks to the mother of the bride, a woman with a lovely smile who was a guest at one of the weddings we organized. During the welcome dinner, she asked for a card, saying she knew someone who was interested in organizing a wedding in Italy.
A few months later, her daughter emailed me; Florence was our meeting point, from which we left for a two-day tour of Tuscany, scouting for an especially elegant venue.
Her priorities were the beauty of the view and the quality of the service. She had no doubt in selecting this former convent on the Florentine hills, nowadays one of the most luxurious resorts in Italy.
The two days of festivities were great fun: the welcome dinner was organized at the pool with the breathtaking view over Florence, and the setting focused on the “welcome to Italy” theme, which included pizza prepared on the spot, pasta and mozzarella buffets, and diving into the pool, an unexpected ending of the night that caused great fun!
The main façade was the backdrop of the wedding ceremony, an unusual choice we suggested because it allowed the longest aisle for the bride to walk down: over 100 meters, which made her arrival truly glorious. Thanks to the structure of the façade, we were able to set up white curtains that moved in the gentle breeze of the late afternoon, helping to increase the impressive effect.
