3-Days Wedding in Ravello

Beauty and elegance, the perfect definition for this cool and contemporary British couple that we had the pleasure to accompany across the organization of their wedding over the last two years, when a cute and sweet baby girl enriched the family!! The most special guest at the wedding.
For Danielle and George we created a memorable three-days Ravello wedding, where the bride, groom, friends and families enjoyed unforgettable moments in different locations of the beautiful small town of the Amalfi Coast.
The welcome party was held at Palazzo Avino, a famous boutique hotel among the Ravello wedding venues, with stunning views over the sea. Here, guests were able to start discovering the wonders and sunsets of the Amalfi Coast.
The wedding, held in Ravello’s famous Villa Cimbrone, was an absolute surprise for the guests who were welcomed and involved in four different moments and atmospheres throughout the wedding. Not a single theme, but four different and special moments.
The ceremony took place at Villa Cimbrone’s famous Tea Room, with a glamorous and very refined decoration, created with a surprising uneven arch, recalling the effect of two climbing and clinging trees, completely covered with big white orchids and a few white roses, creating a surprising natural effect. The gold chairs, the white walkway created in elegant glossy material and the sumptuous white decoration on the well created the perfect setting for a dreamlike ceremony that our Villa Cimbrone wedding photographer magnificently captured.
After the ceremony the guests walked through the beautiful Alley of Immensity and reached the famous and iconic Terrace of Infinity, worldwide famous wedding venues of the Amalfi coast, where we served the aperitif with a very light arrangement that enhanced the location, with gold metal tables, antique pink cushions and hints of light flowers in gold vases with beautiful large white orchids.
At sunset we invited guests for dinner, held in the famous Crypt of Villa Cimbrone. The crypt, renovated with the villa and the gardens by the British nobleman Lord Grimthorpe in the early 20th century, is modelled after the monk’s cellarium at Fountains Abbey, a Cistercian monastery near Malton, England, where Grimthorpe was born. With its massive columns, shady interior, and expansive views of the Mediterranean, it’s the magic spot for an hotel Villa Cimbrone wedding dinner with spectacular views.
Here we recreated an hanging garden, falling from the marvelous vaulted ceiling and capturing the guests’ gaze. We designed and created rich decorations of greenery in the two side aisles and enriched the central aisle with a very rich cascade of lilac, pink and white wisteria.
Elegant crystal and gold chandeliers emphasized the luxurious central mirrored table, completely decorated with big white orchids and with exquisite gold details of the mise en place.
Dinner was served ‘family style’, with sharing plates, to increase the guests conviviality, in perfect Ravello wedding style and leaded up with the sensational white tiered wedding cake, made of a cascade of pastel colored macarons and decorated with a profusion of white flower petals.
The surprising grand finale was held in the villa’s Panoramic Garden, overlooking the sea and the enchanting lights of the Amalfi Coast. Here we designed and created a beautiful structure with cascades of fairy lights, a stage made of oxidized material, a circular central bar decorated with a profusion of falling gold and fuchsia hearts, enlightened with different colored lights throughout the evening.
The spectacular entertainment with a famous British band of thirteen musicians and a cool DJ made the fun party until the late in the night. A unique space, evoking a structure fallen from the sky, that we called a ‘magic spaceship’ landed from the starry sky into the garden of Villa Cimbrone to close a wonderful evening that newlyweds and guests will always remember.
On the day after, to greet friends and relatives, we organized a colorful brunch by the pool at Villa Cimbrone, with large majolica tables and delicate flowers in pastel colors. A fabulous acoustic band entertained the guests and made this last day perfect, kissed by the extraordinary sunshine of the Amalfi Coast.
