A monastery in the 12th century, it was surrounded then by an ancient forest. In later centuries, it became a farmhouse and the land around it was cultivated.

Much more recently, the farmhouse wedding venue was completely renovated and transformed into a hotel wedding location. The traditional features, which still recall the religious origins of the structure, have been carefully preserved and the historic atmosphere is intact. There are 12 double rooms at the hotel, and additional accommodation can be found nearby. Facilities and activities include a wellness centre in the hotel, a swimming pool, a nearby 18-hole golf course and sightseeing tours available around the region. The beach is just 2km away – you can walk or be driven there, a diving school is located at the beach for some sea diving. The lovely terrace by the swimming pool is a great setting for your cocktail wedding reception. Outdoor wedding ceremonies are often held in the aromatic citrus orchards, or in the gardens under the pergola of bougainvillea. The colonnade and square inside the walls of the hotel are a great location for your wedding dinner.
The garden, with its centuries-old olive trees, is a great setting to cut your cake and enjoy the evening wedding reception, celebrating under the stars with your family and friends. Winter weddings can take advantage of the spacious internal rooms, which can host up to 50 guests. The hotel’s excellent restaurant takes care of the catering, using local ingredients, including the extra-virgin olive oil produced on site.
