Black&White themed wedding
June 25, 2011
An unforgettable themed wedding took place in a fairytale Castle in Chianti…
it all began with a perfect scenery: the preparation room of the bride full of themed particulars like black&white bed covers, the dressing gown, the witnesses favours.
The 25 meters white carpet, the delicate and refined decors of the Church with gypsophila and white roses.
The reception at the sunset in the garden of the Castle with decorated Damask pillows and many flower cages with white peonies and black satin bows.
The insight wedding dinner with a special table setting: high vases with crystal ballchains, “black water” effect and liquid silver votives…
In the courtyard of the Castle the moment of the wedding cake: a delicious 3-tiers Carrot cake, very stylish with its Damask tissues decorations…
And finally the after dinner in the open terrace of the Castle, with the cigars and Spirits corner… It all ended under the stars with a fantastic fireworks show with names display of the Bride & Groom!
A dreamy and evocative atmosphere, a wedding full of wedding inspirations like decorating tips, black&white favour ideas, ceremony booklets, Damask decors on tissues and runners, a precious baroque style tableaux, precious details starting with the Bridal Dress by a famous Italian atelier, then the Bride’s black details like bows, long gloves, spot-lights and a special black&white effect for the Bride’s bouquet, black plumage Tiara and a soft white plumage for Bride’s shoes… up to guests details as a white bow on a black platform shoe… pure sophistication!

"Wedding in Certaldo"
Carly and Steve wedding in Certaldo had the precious contribution of Simon Mark Whitten of Firehorse Photography, from North Yorkshire.
We loved his style being so passionate, discreet and artistic.Carly and Steve chose Certaldo for its antique allure, with a hint of “eternal”..They desired an intimate wedding, surrounded only by really special people. The bride was dressed in a very elegant silk suit...a delightful bouquet of “Lily-of-the-valley”, so loved by her nanny, challenged with success the heat of July…
Immediately after the wedding, the couple had their honeymoon on the isle of Capri!
